ALAM (Akademi Laut Malaysia)

In the previous blog, i mentioned about ALAM. So, many of you will ask what is ALAM.Before that let me shared my experienced when i told them about ALAM.


First: Friend A : Danish kau belajar mana?
          Me          : ALAM.
          Friend A : Bapak pandai nya kau,Tiap2 hari mesti kau gi I-city kan..
          Me          :HAAAA???????????
          Friend A : Kau belajar dkat UITM SHAH ALAM kan?
Jeng2, people thought i study in UITM shah alam or puncak alam.

Second: Friend A :kau masuk ALAM. Bapak hebat la sial.
              Me          : Kau Tahu pasal Akademi Laut Malysia ker?
              Friend A : Mesti la, Yang dekat lumut tu kan?
Dushhhhh, brotherrrrrrr yang lumut tu TLDM la , Bukan ALAM. Im not train to be a soldier .

This is the common situation when i have to explained to everyone about ALAM.  There are only ALAM in Melaka and Terengganu . Melaka for Diploma Nautical Study, Terengganu for Diploma Marine Engineering. Currently i study in Terengganu.

What is ALAM all about??
Alam is where they trained us to be a Officer onboard ship. Everyone here is sponsor by different company. There is MISC,AET,Bumi armada and much more. Like me, i have been sponser by (American Eagle Tanker) AET, a Singapore company. My company transport Oil Around the world but mainly in United States. There will be three years in ALAM, First year in Terengganu, Second year Sail around the world, senior year, back to Terengganu.

Getting in Alam is tough. U need to complete 5Stages :written exam, psychometric test,interview,induction week of hell and physical training. All of them is HELL.

However ALAM is the best place to study because as i mentioned previous post, this is a place for u to make money fast. after graduate, i will be working with my Sponsor to re payback for their sponsorship. I will become forth engineer after i graduate in ALAM, with a monthly salary of rm 5000. imagine only the aged of 23 my salary is rm5000. Then when i become third ,second and chief that amount will be increase. For my company you can became chief engineer at the age of 29 with the salary rm 20 000 a month. LIKE WOWOWOWOW.

Awesome right.FREE TRAVEL AROUND THE WORLD AND HAVE HIGH SALARY thats why i in ALAM. Aiming everything that i want in the aged of 25 years old. =)
